Sweet Tahi Chili Sauce

Yield: Makes 1/4 Cup of Sauce

 

Ingredients:

1/2 cup rice vinegar

1 tablespoon minced red chile

1 tablespoon sugar

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1 teaspoon salt

 

Directions:

Mix  all ingredients in small saucepan. Bring to simmer on medium heat. Simmer until mixture thickens to a syrupy consistency, stirring constantly.   Allow to thicken. The sauce will reduce by half.  Remove from heat. Let cool completely before storing in a glass jar and refrigerate.
