Aramon

Aramon grape is a black skinned grape native to the Languedoc-Roussillon region located in the Southern part of France.  The grape is often used to make inexpensive table wine or is blended with Alicante Bouschet and Grand Noir de la Calmette. Once blended Aramon develops a unique dark hue.  The Aramon has spicy notes in its flavor profile so it lends itself well to North African dishes as well as more rustic fare food on the province of France.

Food Pairings: Ratatouille , Spicy mutton sausage with sumac and harissa
