Carmignano Wine

Vintage 2009

Winery Villa di Capezzana

This varietal uses both Carbernet Sauvignon grapes and Sangiovese grapes. Carmignano has a medium level of acidity and is fairly full bodied wine. Its fruity notes are due to the Sangiovese grapes which is indiginous to the Tuscany region of Italy. Depending on the food pairing you may be able to pick on its herbaious notes as well as black currant and cedar.
