Stress and Cooking
A combination of stress and cooking is never a good mix. My very busy schedule changes from day to day which means that meal planning can be a challenge. The end result of 10 hour work days is that cooking becomes a chore instead of a pleasure. Time is never on my side. Vegetables and one pot dishes have become a staple.
Food is a necessity but so is sleep. One remedy for easy meals is a meat sauce that can be made ahead and frozen for those days when I have zero time. Polenta is a versatile gluten-free options that can go from pantry to plate in under 30 minutes or less. When paired with a salad and glass of wine the stress melts away.
